Me and M - a lean, dark haired, banjo pickin', surf guitar slinging, combat boot wearing, show moshing, beautiful son of a bitch, me and he, we went on out to Reggie's last weekend for the Moonrunners Music Fest. 30 bucks for 20+ bands on 2 stages...yeah, I'm there.

You are as marvelous as back-sweat is not. You make me want to DANCE! I want to hear all this music! My kingdom for a better internet connection! Someday, Templeton. Someday, we are going to a GD music festival TOGETHAH!

Mom and I are planning a trip to Roanoke in September. I don't suppose any interesting music thingy is happening around the 21st-25th arena? Or that you might be interested in JOINING US on the ROAD?

I've been waiting for time and space and non-work enough to watch LEMMY. Friend of mine gave me a Lemmy action figure (they made one! They do not, as far as I know, make Nick Cave dolls...). I should find him!

hey patty! Thanks for the write up. Just to clarify... The only reason for overlapping was for comfort level. If we had all 450 in the small room for the Cubes, it would be illegal and fucking obnoxious. So, I had no choice but to separate the crowd a bit when the bigger acts performed. I just wanted to clear that up. Also, we didn't announce the lineup until the day of, so folks wouldn't see what time their favorite band was performing and than miss all the out of town early bands. This fest was just as much about discovery as it was for familiarity. I am happy you had a good time. It will be back next year for two days! April 25 and 26. The lineup will be more amazing than this years.
