Since my last post I've gotten a new pet that, though not the crayfish mentioned last-time, is a crustacean - an Ecuadorean Hermit crab. I got him a few days after Carter got one. So I'm soon to be getting a new pet, a large male Procambarus clarkii,  which is a red swamp crayfish in the common tongue. A TA decided that the crayfish should not be used in the experiment since it was in  a tank that was electricuted when a heater in it blew up.
