I saw the Taiko drumming in the concert hall a few years ago, and they were bloody fantastic.

Good luck with the flooring.

Shame about the haka not having spears, tongues and dancing. I always find that the tongue thing is the essence of a haka and there's a wonderful ritual savagery to it. (But it does look just dumb when white people do it.)

Hope you enjoy Wicked. I bought Sal the book it's based on about five years ago and she still hasn't read it.

It's a funny book. I've heard mixed reviews about teh show itself.

I've boght his other books as they've come out, but I'ma bit behind in my reading I'm afraid, so I'm a bit worried that he's going to turn out to be a bit of a one trick pony like Jasper Fforde, and I'll be bored of them by the end of book 3. Here's hoping not.

I enjoyed reading Wicked but got bogged down in the next one and gave up.
