Books - free to a good home.

We've combined and culled the books and as a result have a lot left over that need good homes. There are some pictures below the cuts of what is up for grabs - far too many to list individually.

If you live in Melbourne we can arrange pick up, if you are in Canberra or Adelaide we can hold on to them until we next visit but large amounts could be a ( Read more... )

It must be good to be almost finished that painting and sorting!!

If it's not too many (if it is, I'd be happy with any of these) then I would love the following - they're sad holes in my collection:

Brite Exquisite Corpse
any fables & reflections
Jo Walton King's Peace
Sue Isle
Tony Shillitoe
Glenda's book
Sandman
Susan Cooper The Boggart

(and if you really don't want my book, I can find a home for it - it's expensive in Australia and I know several people who can't afford it who'd love a copy - and they're all coming to Conflux).

I'm really looking forward to catching up with you in less than two weeks. I so like typing that "less than two weeks."

If I find I have duplicates of the F&R (I have one at home and I can't remember which so there may well be at least one) I can pass it on to you. I can't trust my memory right now, though, and my bookshelves are a few hundred miles away.

I'd love to grab the Ian Fleming paperbacks and the Pratchetts (a couple of the few I am yet to pick up)... but as we are missing each other completely during my trip, and I have no idea when next I will be in Melb, I hope they find good homes.

flemings gone, but we'll work something out with the Pratchetts. Maybe leave them with someone else if there are mutual friends you are visiting.
