So I'm looking at new laptops. I'm going between two right now. One is a gaming laptop by Digital Storm - 17" monitor, 6 gig of RAM, Geforce 9800M GS graphics card. The other is an HP, 18.4" monitor with 4 gig of ram and a geforce 9600M GT graphics card, and is a couple hundred cheaper. They both have core 2 quad processors, blu-ray drives, etc ( Read more... )

DAMN. This just reminds me how badly I need to upgrade my poor computer. TWO QUAD CORE PROCESSORS GODDAMN. One thing you might want to take into consideration is that a stronger graphics card, if not cooled properly, can heat up and cause a lot of wear on your computer. That's probably not a big issue here, but it leads me to think that Digital Storm would probably take that into consideration more than HP. My cousin had an HP back in the day that had smoke pour out of it at one point. I've never really trusted them since.
