I go to White Rock Lake at lunch sometimes. I like that there are always people there.

Four years is a good run at an auction house. I hope your job search is smooth and a new position arrives soon.

Oh, see, I missed this news.

I feel like four years is a fairly long time to do anything. It's a rotten time to not have the next thing lined up, though. Ugh.

Still, I think that must have been a great learning experience. Are you thinking about getting back into book dealing? I think you'd be at an entirely new level now. Good luck whatever your plans are.

I used to say that, "unemployment was wasted on the unemployed." Because when you have that stretch of time, you tend to be under a lot of stress because of the lack of a job --but, once you have one, you tend to look back at that stretch of time and wonder why you didn't enjoy it more. I was lucky one time --I was unemployed from the beginning of September until the beginning of January --BUT, I got hired in November, knowing that I wouldn't start until the next year due to how their budget worked.
