I don't quite know what to say except I get a lot of this and hope it goes well putting the baggage down. It sounds like you've decided to do it. During a bad depression, that's the hardest part. Your "imaginary internet friends" (as some blogfolks I know say) are pulling for you, for what that's worth.

I've sort of resigned myself to the idea that I'll probably always feel like an awkward teenager, at least on occasion. But having a life that is meaningful to me- that's a great (and really difficult) goal. You can definitely do it.
