Update from Jules

Thank you all for your messages of love and support for Paul. He is indeed very unwell but pain-free and relaxed and I am sure comforted by the knowledge he is very, very loved. He is at home with us where he belongs. I will not be doing facebook updates via his account, so keep an eye out for some blog entries as I endeavour to keep you up to date ( Read more... )

Love and support to you, Jules. Strength is a strange thing - you muster what you have to. That seems to be how it works. If you are brave (and you are), you get what you need.

For my part - and I'm sure anyone else who's contacted you individually feels the same way - you don't need to reply to anything. This time is not about us. The important thing is there is lots of support on hand, whenever/however/if you need it - and with no obligation to need it. Your privacy and space is super important.

Level 18! Awesome! You guys must be so delighted with Isla's reading.

Thanks for the taking the time, Jules. But only do what you can as far as LJ goes. We're not the point. Paul is. Just give him a hug and a kiss from all of us out here in LJ land, and remind him that he's in our thoughts and prayers ... as are you all.

Glad he's pain free and home, and very glad you're managing okay. Nothing much I can do from NSW but wish there were.

Great news about Isla! Both our kids love their reading :)

Try to make some time to look after yourself, too. There's a big community here ready to step up to help out with things. Don't be afraid to ask for volunteers on here to pick up some groceries and drop them in if things are hectic, or do any of those other annoying jobs.

Take care.
