Any one think that its about time I do this????
I don't really feel like it but I'm going to any way....its so hot here, we spent most of the morning swimming and getting a tan....any how that's a side issue ramble.
Beginning from after Christmas:
We went to the Gold Coast for a few day's and chilled and got the skin burnt off our faces and then got all swollen, puffy and red, and then were forced to do some serious 'chilling'. On NewYears Eve we headed down to the beach with many other people and had a 'camp fire' and watched the fire works go off in Coolengatta and Surfers Paradise. Relaxing way to welcome in the new year!
Then a few day's after that Planetshakers was on. So Kathleen, Calais and us 3 girls went to that, and that was one of the most powerful events we've been too. It just got better and better every session as the week went on. Since rego was only a quarter of the price it was first off for the second week we decided to register for it, and we were glad we did...it was extra amazing and God filled and powerful.
People were getting healed in the line ups.
This group of teens brought their friend in a wheel chair (into the line) who had hurt his foot really bad he couldn't walk (obviously) and asked those around to begin to pray. We all did! And then the guy just gets up and starts walking, we asked him how it felt and he said that his foot was tingling as if it was asleep and was 'waking up' and he was beginning to feel it, that was awesome. Then Miriam had a throbbing headache that she couldn't even talk let alone go into the auditorium (because the music and praise is seriously LOUD) so Joe said we should pray. We brought her in and our group prayed over her and a few seconds after, her headache was completely gone.
After the last night session, there were people walking out holding crutches above their head, going crazy.
Reggie Dabbs and Cris Hill were so powerful in their preaching and....altogether it was the most worth it event I've been to this year ;) I believe that 2007 is going to be an amazing year in many ways for many people. God's going to move dramatically.
Less then a week after Planetshakers (meaning less then a week to recooperate from getting up@5:30 and getting to bed@after midnight) I had some work to do in Morenbah (up north) so on Friday Dad and I flew up there and I begun the weeks worth of office work. It wasn't too hard but it was tiring having to do the same thing over and over again and sitting in the same position in a freezing office for hours (some of the guys should have been born in an igloo or something *crazy*). Then I had to go home and cook for the guys :) but the time spent with Dad was good and it wasn't all as bad as it sounds, I got an amazing unexpected pay, plus a few free lunches :D. The second last day I made a big push and finished it all so I got to stay at home on Thursday and sleep in a bit and chill. I had to pack our bags and clean the place we were staying at but I also got to relax and watch the movies I borrowed: "V For Vendetta" (okay, interesting enough but I don't recommend it though) and "Intolerable Cruelty" I liked that one, even though I didn't get to see all of it, and could have done without some of the crap served up but otherwise I really enjoyed it....its so funny! I like George Clooney's character as well as Geoffory Rush's. Good for some laughs!
Arrived home late Thursday night and the next day we had a special engagement-Australia-day-party to attend. Whoohoo!!!
A SPECIAL CONGRATULATIONS TO LUKE AND SIMCHA! :D
It was good fun. Then Saturday we went to Paul Papageorgiou's party and it was kind of a triple celebration with 3 cakes for Paul, Abby and myself. Oh...and a note of warning: Never go to a Greek party after you've just had breakfast. ;)
After that we had Simcha, Luke and her Dad over for a 'pool party' and a BBQ/bday party. That was a lot of fun! We mucked around in the pool for the most part of the evening and then had a prolonged dinner and chatted then us girls decided to do a film for the Crowther girls (which I have yet to get up on youtube gals). Afterwards we headed up to the piano room and Simcha played amazingly some Phantom of the opera music as well as Sound of Music songs that we all had a good old time singing along to, not to mention goofing off at the phantom parts. We did some acting and miming to the Phantom music which ended in hilarious laughing fits....and we filmed lots of it too...man it was a good time!!
I got some really nice bday gifts too:
A journal from Simcha as well as the Rick Warren book
A new watch
Cd player
Gift voucher
Money
Bible
Roses from Mum (awwww)
etc
etc
etc
I have hundreds and hundreds of pictures to put up, but I might put them up on bebo instead and give you the link here. For those of you who missed out and who care to see, go
here for the pictures from Planetshakers.
Um what else???
This week at church we have a prayer meeting every night just for a week and its turned out really powerful. Should go get ready for tonight. Its at the uni.
Hey guess what I just realized? I missed my LJ bday. So happy birthday to me, happy birthday to me, happy birthday dear Elizabeth, happy birthday to me :D Its my 3rd year on LJ I think. :)
Well on Friday after I'd cleaned my room and made space for a new mirror, whoohoo! ;)
Oh and as I was tidying my room my Grandma comes in with a package for me that was on our doorstep...and it was from my precious DANIELLE AND ASHLEIGH!!!! I LOVE THE SHIRT GIRLS!!! AND I WORE IT THAT AFTERNOON, OUT! ITS IN THE PICTURES! ;)
Thank you so so much. It fits perfectly and I really appreciated the note that came along with the package. Hugs and Kissies! Miss you! Want to see you again soon! Thanks again! I love you both! xoxox
Then I called Savannah and we planned a little shopping trip, her Dad came and picked me up and we went to Indro and then caught a bus to the city, we strolled around and Sav showed me some of her favourite shops, my my they are cute but so so expensive, it sucks that we both have expensive taste but at the moment can't afford $599 clothes and accessories. ;D Ah well, one day...! There were a lot of little 'adventures' with unusual people and all that...but it was a wonderful afternoon. Back at Indro we ran into Aimee accidentally who has been abroad traveling for 8mths, and that night at prayer she was going to turn up and surprise every one, so we were the bearers of an exciting surprise.......
Tonight the boys and their friends next door have invited us three girls over for a "Superman Returns" night and it'll be fun....going to a boy organized 'event' is always fun. :D
I have a few pictures from our day so i think i'll put them up! Then I'll skeedadde! There is much more going on but I don't feel like writing in here at the moment. I'm sorry, I hope I don't offend non, but my words and writing isn't flowing very well lately, so its all hiberyjibbery jibe and may be hard to read....now days I'm kind of writing for myself, and for my own reason...for memory's sake.....so i can read back in years to come and remember,...rather then for the public....:( I love you all!
On the steps of the Indooroopilly Highschool where we have our prayer meeting just waiting after our afternoon outing, and having good ol' Canon moments.

This was late last year when our cousins came to visit us. Here we are in the airport car park with our Uncle, and the reason this never got up here was that it was taken on the cam phone.
