What a fun survey. What caused you to do the poll?
So did you like being home-schooled?

I use to think I was going to go to college but God had other plans for me.I think doing God's will for your life is the most important thing to do.

How has your week been? Anything fun? My Aunt is still here so we are having a great time.:)

Um...I don't really know! I guess all that stuff has been on my mind the last few years and I decided to finally do a poll on it. :)

Yes, I know in the long run that homeschooling is what God had for me.

God's plan is always best.

My week has so far been..um...uneventful. But it will be full on by the end of the week. I've organized to go see Amazing Grace again with a few friends...will be good! and then I might be going to the markets with a few friends on Saturday and I really want to do some vintage op shopping...:) Plus school and work! Sweet!

Have extra fun with your cousins and Aunt.

I never knew you were homeschooled. Maybe that's why it seemed off when I asked about your school schedule. Are public schools deemed as bad in Australia? Are more children homeschooled there?

I don't remember you asking me about a school schedule. Besides, just because I did a poll on home schooling and education it doesn't mean I home school? ;)

No, public schools are mostly all the same any where. Even private schools.

Its just that my parents have just done heavy research into the education area and found out some 'freaky' things that happen in the education department of Government and the results of it in children and youth and have decided it's not for their children. :)

There are probably more home schoolers in the USA because naturally it's a bigger population, but yes, it has become quite popular here over the last 10 to 15yrs.

True, but I read from the comment above me that you do homeschool, which is why I said that I never knew.

It was probably a year ago that I asked about your school schedule. Since it's my summer now, I was curious how your schedule worked in your summer.

Personally, I'm against homeschooling because I see the disadvantages in my cousins. I'm not sure I would say homeschooling is popular here in the US, because our schools are usually overflowing to where they have to build more. But hey, who knows?

Another question, though, do you read Harry Potter?

It's sad to hear about your cousins and you have a good right to be against home schooling after seeing a bad experience happen to your own family. I think it all depends on your motives for home schooling and the way you home educate ( ... )

I loved this quiz! Partly because I was home schooled myself.;)
So, are people starting to ask you about what you will do with your life? I think that the most important thing is that you are where the Lord would have you to be. Its not always the easiest place to be, but it is well worth it in the long run! I got a lot of grief for not going to college (still get some!). Its hard at times, since it makes me feel like people look down on me for not going to college. God is faithful though!
So, how many children do you want?

Oh people have always asked me that sort of stuff. I've just 'noticed' it more since I've been hearing more of what the world has to say about it. Its not good!
Yes you are right, and I do realize that what God has to say on my life is much more important than any thing else.
So, how many children do you want?
Um...I've been struggling with that question lately. I know I have to just leave it all up to God and trust Him. So! To answer your question; However many children God sees fit to give me.

I'm so behind :) I didn't see that Danielle had done a poll :)

Mum and I were just talking about this kind of thing this morning... especially about whether college is good or not. Cause I was thinking this morning about what things I should be doing (I'm not considering uni), but it just came up in conversation that if you're following God's leading, and you're willing to learn, you are going to learn in every situation. He brings about situations that teach us in the ways He wants us taught. Just thinking about our shop- that taught me so much more about people than a public relations course could ever do for me- so it really depends where God has you.

Oh, don't mind me... I thought Danielle said she'd done a poll, when she saw me doing yours, but she meant she'd filled yours in :)

Hope I haven't confused you!

That's the thing. The world is telling us what we "should" be. All we need to be is what God wants us to be.
That's so right what you are saying. People learn more hands-on and experiencing life rather then stuck behind text books "learning" about the 'real life'.

Indeed. It's so hard to not try to please people when they ask what we do. But God will reward those who stick my what He has called them to do.
