A little. But who cares, it doesn't make a difference. And that's what I'm saying, whenever I hear, well sung Christmas music I feel like its Christmas time and I go all funny. lol This was a really random post btw (I forgot to add that as a footnote at the bottom of my update lol) I just happened to hear Silent Night and I was like "whoa" and I just felt like writing it down.
I love listening to Christmas songs! Especially old favorites, like Amy Grant's album or Point of Grace. And, its funny how Christmas has a smell to it. And not just that of pine trees! ;)
I KNOW. Christmas DOES have a smell to it too. I know one of the smells that I like is the smell of the old decorations coming out of the big old trunk for decorating the tree...ohooo and especially the smell of tinsel. :D
I LOVE Christmas songs! I'll listen to them any time of the year. Around November (Gosh that's soon!) One of our local radio stations plays Christmas songs 24/7 (with obvious commercials) and I'm like "YESSSSSSSSS"
I love Christmas and all, but I really don't like the whole family part. I hate being smushed in my grandpa's house that is too small for everyone. Though since my grandma passed, maybe we'll have it somewhere else that's bigger.
Oh yeah!!! I wish we had a station that played Christmas songs 24/7. So cool!
Funny...but I really miss the whole squishing into a small place at my Nan's, with beers and soft drinks going round and the smell of roasts and all the licorice and chocolate and lollies being passed around...love it. I miss it especially cos since we moved to the state of Queensland we haven't had a Christmas with our family down that way for 3yrs :( I miss them.
I can imagine it would feel really weird having Christmas in a hot country. Wow!!! This will be Simcha's first Christmas in Australia. :O cool. Its a lovely way to remember it, with you girls coming.
