Getting Closer But Still No Cigar

We feel fortunate to be even in the air now at 1:00 AM. We took off two hours ago and should have landed two hours ago. It's the sort of meaningless symmetry that makes a good hook in the introduction yet isn't an essential element in the narrative to follow.

Sounds like you've had both a good and "interesting" vacation! I hope Martha's knee is doing better.

Well, even if she's a bit rough and requires prodding to keep from sputtering out completely, I'm sure she doesn't consume twenty pounds of fuel a minute!
