It was nice having Syd here for a few days. I always feel happier about things when he's here. But he had to leave before the whole crazy Thanksgiving thing, and that sucked. If I can't be on the ice... I'm perfectly happy being on the beach.

I'm getting on a plane to Vancouver. No reason to stay in Tampa when I could be there and at least cheering on Syd for another game. I thought I'd have more to say, but... I don't. Not right now. Maybe in a day or two.

Two weeks, possibly as many as eight, partially torn MCL. Well, at least that's what they said in Edmonton. I get looked at again in Calgary, and then probably again when we're back in Tampa before anyone says anything "official."

I've never been a... big fan of Valentine's day. Never had a reason to be. And suddenly I'm rethinking that, I do have a reason to care... and he's multiple states away.

Which is why I'm sitting in an airport, waiting on a flight out to Dallas. I'll have to leave in the morning to make it back for the game tomorrow, but I just want to be with him
