I've mentioned before about a cat that regularly comes round our house which our cat cassie cant stand. They had another confrontation yesterday and I decided to ( take a picture this time )
I assume Cassie is a female. Perhaps the black cat is a male? Male cats are very persistent when they take an interest in a female cat. I used to have a female cat at my parents' house and this big hairy cat used to come around. She used to chase him and claw at him but he kept coming around. Finally, she got pregnant and I'd see them flirting in the front yard.
Yes Cassie is a female and I think the black cat is male just from looking at its face. I've noticed male cats tend to have rounder faces although its not obvious in that pic. No chance of pregnancy though as Cassie has been fixed.
Our cats would often sit on the back porch and growl at cats that came onto our property. One day my mother stuck a tape recorder out there. I don't think we have the tape anymore.
