I'm in LA. Couchsurfed here, which was pretty awesome. Mountains in Colorado and Utah were pretty treacherous. I almost died all day yesterday. Rough stuff

I did a little couchsurfing back in my day... two months ago. We went to LA via the northern states. Portland and Seattle were pretty cool. I think I would have preferred traveling alone, but like you said I'd have to take it easy driving. Are you staying there for a while? If you ever have to take a trip back, I'd say go through the northwest! happy trails, sir

I'd mostly want to travel with a buddy because I hate driving. And I like having a navigator. So switching drivers would be good news.
I'll be here for at least two months. If I get steady work after that then I'll stay. If not then I'll go back to Michigan.
I originally planned on going through Portland then working my way down here through San Fran. I have buddies in a couple of cities in the northwest. I like those places. They're chill.
