Are people really drowning in information though? Only if you take the word "information" in the most literal sense. Most people are drowning in pictures of cats with the word "LOL" written on them.

Yeah, I think that's part of the "LALALALALA" point - with the amount of lolcats out there, someone could end up looking at nothing but lolcats.

While I'm not set on using the word "information" for all the "stuff" out there, I think I'm partly justified because the stuff we can both agree on calling information is buried along side the lolcats out there.
