Yeah the Silver Jews show was not really magnificent. It was clear that it was their first tour, and they had a bunch of kinks to work out. The music was great, and they had a neat background and pretty lights, but lots of shiny things do not a good show make. They stopped mid-song a couple of times to start over, and no one was very familiar with the concept of talking into the mic, so it was hard to hear what they were saying a lot of the time.
Anyway, I hope that you're doing well. I also hope I get to see you soon. It is a pity I didn't get to see you over spring break--I always look forward to it, and I am spoiled by hearing your music every time I see you, so I came back here a little less satisfied. Hahahah. :)
