Hello folks, I'm still alive, though stressed out by work and come bearing gifts (well, one) and in my case this means a new fanvideo. Did I mention that I watch a LOT of shows? This time I decided on a video for my favorite mood lifter show and that is Psych. By the way, it's one of the few shows I really did started watching when the actual show started (mostly I don't become interested in a show until a few seasons in or long after their original run).
So what spliff did I sniff to come up with this idea (that was rhetorical, I'm a non-smoker)? Um, well last year after I finished college in September I had to move back in with my parents and look for a job as research assistant. So, to get myself occupied besides writing job applications and not having to sit in the living room all evening with my folks, I remembered my milelong list of vidding ideas. So from late October till mid-November I vidded nearly every evening for 2-4 hours. And then after three weeks … I ran out of ideas. I was 2:55 mins in and couldn't get any further. Everything I put it did not contribute to the videos flow. Bugger!
And then also real life kicked in the overdrive. I had three job interviews right before Christmas for which I had to travel quite far. Two of them offered me jobs and so this year in January I moved cross-country with my whole baggage (which consisted mostly of books) and was immediately occupied again with learning a whole new topic of research and the accompanying methods. It still is stressful (weekends shifts additionally to workweek shifts aren't fun) but three weeks ago or so out of nowhere my vidding muse appeared and nudged and poked until I found myself opening up again that WMM project. Well, it certainly helped that a whole new season aired since my last attempts.
Enough with the blabla. There really isn't a story for this video (is there ever one in mine?). It could be summed up as this: Shawn and Gus experience their fair share of spooky events with clients, of course Shawn is the more logical/reasonable one and Gus is …. well, Gus, more emotional and easier spooked. But when they face supernatural activity both become little screaming girls and run. Lassiter, Juliet and Henry assist their Ghostbuster-like attempts. But mostly: It's crack, it's fun, it's for easy entertainment. Period.
So here are the download links and streams, after keeping you so long with all the pretty talk. Spoiler up to 5x9.
Streams? Not just Youtube? No, as a matter of fact YT (more Sony Music Entertainment) blocks the video in the following countries: Austria, Belgium, Chile, Colombia, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Malaysia, Norway, Peru, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, Venezuela. Nice, isn't it? I couldn't even watch it myself when I'm not logged in.

I know that in my description on Youtube I said, I wanted to write down a whole scene sheet because I used so many clips and because I know that that question will pop up like an air-filled plastic thingy in a bathtub. I'm sorry, I have to do this over the next couple days. I still have to do quite a lot of stuff at home which couldn't be done earlier because of work. I also wanted to make a statistic of how much episodes used, average clip length, number of effects used, just for my personal pleasure, but again, sometime later this week. I will update this post accordingly.
So, if you enjoyed the video (or not), leave a comment, what did you like, what not, you know give me feedback. It's interesting to know what other people see in this stuff.
Have a nice day!
