Pawel brushes away the ash that has fallen down from his face upon the paper before beginning to add an entry to the dossier.

Subject seems to be responding well to treatment
State of denial has made him more pliable for coaxing into treatment

Lack of proper instruction in boxing actually enhanced therapy technique
With modified equipment and subject's depressed and malnourished state, control over the activity was simple to establish. Juxtaposing unsportsmanlike conduct combined with escalating condescension against brazen ineptitude helped to incite responses.

Treatment progressed to second stage. Verbal and physical jabs replaced with more severe attacks. Gradual introduction of mimicking mannerisms identified with the subject's deceased father-figure had the desired effect. While crude, method proved to force the subject out of an inert state of denial into a more progressive state of anger.

Subject's boxing gloves and our obvious physical condition helped mitigate collateral damage of the subject's breakthrough

Will continue to observe subject and direct his progress as necessary to facilitate a proper recovery.

Putting the pen back into its inkwell, Pawel closes the folder labeled "Fried" and places it carefully back among his collection of seemingly disorganized case files.
