i know what you mean about getting out of rochester. i thought the same thing during most of high school. when i came to college, i still missed rochester, though. and then i visit home and get sick of it again. i really like the city of rochester (maybe even more than chicago), but the people in it can make it really hard sometimes. its like "the land of living in the past." dunno what im trying to say cuz its not very encouraging. oh well.

I really believe that you need to relook your situation(s). Your life could be a lot worse. Let's look at the positives: you live in Rochester Hills...one of the wealthiest cities, you have a family that loves you enough to feed you 3 meals a day, whether you take advantage of the meals is your business, not mine, your parents provide you with a place to live, clothing. You go to a great Michigan school, whether you believe it or not, I'd like to say that you have good enough friends that care for you enough to keep you going in life, friends that remind you of the great things in life. You're good looking. Elise, you really have a good life. Don't let the little things in life that go wrong make you think otherwise. You could be homeless, your parents could kick you out of the house, you could get cancer, you could have a tragic accident of some sort.
