Cool Burner Art in Burien

While on the bus on my way to work this morning, we passed what was a construction site a couple of weeks ago.

It has been converted into the Burien Interim Art Space and has been filled with a lot of really cool steel sculptures.  I found they're website here.

They're doing really cool stuff with the B/ IAS project, and it's going to be there for a whole year so there are plenty of opportunities to see it. There should be additional opportunities to see the sculptures in complete fire mode at least a couple times during the coming year too. There are some very cool videos of the opening on YouTube. But it's pretty awesome looking during the day too, especially if you walk around it.

(I got involved with the planning committee recently after I interviewed the two primary founders.)
