so i just finished half my calc homework and realized i got every problem wrong. that sucked. can lisa help me? :P seriouslyin other news, strange cities have been calling me. I checked my caller ID recently. Extra Credit if anyone calls and finds out who it is ( Read more... )

the answer is unreal.
first, you do indefinite integration and get 2 * x ^ (3/2) - 2 * x
then when you insert the 1, you get zero...
BUT.. when you insert the -1, you have to do (-1)^(3/2) which is unreal. (same as: sqrt( (-1)^3 ), which would be square root of negative number.)
so.. unreal answer. they tried to trick you. those dirty scumbags.

i finally figured it out. it was x^(1/3) not 3x^(1/2)...no wonder i couldn't get the right answer. thanks anyway though! =0
