Since I've moved to Vermillion, I've been able to hang out with some people I haven't really been around much. I've reconnected with my friend Rebeckah, and that's awesome. It hasn't been the best week. Being away from home is hard enough, but I've had some bad luck on top of it. On Monday a Wells Fargo ATM ate my debit card, which was the only source of money I had. And Wells Fargo doesn't retrieve ATM cards from other banks (mine was from Black Hills FCU); they destroy them, muahahahahaha! I know which bank I'm ( Read more... )

Two weeks from now, I will no longer be employed. It's an exciting thought. I just wish there was a way for me to prepare for the sense of terror that it is going to hit me then.

You have to see Clerks 2. You don't have to run out to theaters right now or anything, but you do have to see it eventually, if for nothing more than the allusions to Silence of the Lambs. Sooooo funny. They nearly had me crying.

My mom and I returned from Vermillion yesterday. It looks like all my school stuff is pretty well taken care of, which is a relief. What worries me is that within a few hours of leaving Rapid I started missing Neil.
