And though it's a bit late, I hope you all had a peaceful, cheery, and lovely Christmas, and that the rest of the Christmas season goes merrily.

It's been a monstrous age since I've last visited LiveJournal, I'm very sorry to say.  :-(   And I have missed you, my friends, and fandom

Oh, THERE you are!! I was just thinking about you the other day and wondering what you've been up to all this time and how you were doing with work and housing issues and all the rest; so great to hear from you again! I'm so sorry you hurt your back; I hope you will be much better soon. And I for one will be so tickled to hopefully have you post more often here this coming year. Missed you!

Yep, my back is much better compared to the summer/early Fall - though I did unfortunately re-hurt it a bit right before I drove up to my hometown for Christmas, at the Post Office of all places! I'd bent down to pick up a parcel and I felt this painful 'pop'. Arrgghh! Drving up (in a standard transmissioned car -ouch) was painful, but luckily it wasn't too bad and driving back down to the coast the day after tomorrow should be fine.

Ha, just the same old same here; still doing the prek gig, still dealing with Marissa's health woes, my son's anxiety disorder, etc. Hoping my whole family will be healthier and happier in 2011!

Yes, New Years are great for new beginnings, for sure! And I do indeed hope it's a better year for us all.

Why, thank you very much about thinking about "Necessary Force"! It's sweet to think it's not forgotten, though I would deserve that. *hangs head* I was, in fact, tinkering with it this past November a bit. Hoping to resolve the corner I'd painted myself into. I haven't given up! And the free-time issue is a serious one, but I'm working to manage what little time I've got to work a bit here and there on writing again. (I really miss it.)

Thanks! You give me a sweet boost, and I appreciate it.

That sounds really interesting, Brady! What, though, is an 'oeuvre'? I am probably going to embarrass myself in my ignorance by asking this, but! (all I know is that it means a work of art or something in French)

I've been thinking about your Neccesary Force these days, which is a gen fic I've been enjoying best. And I wished that you would have time to write the story, and i would be able to make a ebook when you finished it... (because my iPod needs your story!)
