I've always said I was okay with my geekery, but that's really only partially true (why must I turn my LJ into a LJ of LIES?). It took a long time for me to allow sleepingboy and jackblattler to see my LJ. Besides Kirsten, they're the only people in my RL that know. If you were to bring friends from completely different circles/walks of life together, you might have the same hesitation. Context can certainly have a say on how we behave, and perhaps that's what makes mixing the internet world with the real one a bit tricky.

BTW, its nice to know we're in exclusive company ;)

That's true, you know. I'm always nervous when I introduce two seperate sets of friends to one another. There's always that nagging doubt that everyone will hate each other and it will end in a huge brawl. And I forgot to mention Christine and Amy. They know too... but yeah, small group. Jason doesn't even know, though I suspect he has an inkling.
