More movies!

Old habits die hard. Time for some movie reviews! I've kept them spoiler-free, for the most part. I'll put it this way, if you can't hear ANYTHING about a movie before seeing it, then don't read. If vague statements are fine for you, read on. And, if you've already seen it, then no worries. *g*

I agree about Pan's Labyrinth. While I loved most elements of the movie, I found the violence and torture scenes a bit too gory and overwhelming for my tastes.

Hi!

I am really sorry! I've been completely MIA, and I didn't mean to worry you. I have a few excuses, but they're all lame. I gave up LJ for a while mostly because of work. Constantly tired, short on time, and cranky. I started re-reading my posts and realized I was a bore. The second problem is my computer is slowly dying. It takes about 10 minutes to boot up and another 10 to launch the internet. Since I am by nature impatient, this sucks out loud.

I have news of an impending USA roadtrip which takes me close-ish to your area... sadly Kirsty and I have to get from New York to Philly to Boston to Chicago in 2 weeks, and I think the closest to Bloomsburg we get is New York, but... there may be a way to work out some sort of me-buying-you-coffee thing... at any rate, I promise to be around as much as my failing computer permits. I've missed you too! *smooches*

You just disappeared! I can buy the Lj break - I was gone for almost 6 months last summer when we were having provider problems, but I at least let people know what was going on. Nyah, nyah, nyah! Seriously, if you bug out for awhile again, please, please, please just leave a post saying: "RL calls, I won't be around for awhile" or something, K? lillianmorgan and amybnnyc are MIA, too. Lillian went on a trip to the US from Australia, and hasn't posted since. I was worried. But I managed to track you and rayne_y_daze, so, yay!

But I'm really glad you're okay, and creepy stalker guy didn't get you or anything.

Only two weeks? That's not long enough! Are you driving? Let me know your itenerary when you have it worked out, 'cause it would be great to see you.
