Not that I buy into all of the drama, but this is just absolutely insane. I have this friend in Alabama. We're just friends, and I've known him for 4 years. I feel sorry for him because he got some chick knocked up and she had the baby and then left him, taking his kid with her. So I've been telling him to move out here and start a new life. Anyway

Why don't you stop responding to people when you know they're idiots and you can't win with them? You need to start responding with great one-liners and then block her from contacting you again. For example, several possible responses to the first email:
"Fuck off."
"Sticks and stones may break my bones, but at least my son's not a bastard."
"Is Jake's dick as small as it used to be?"
"You tell Jake that his son in California says hello. He's got Jake's eyes."
"Ah! To have a child out of wedlock and be stuck in a loveless relationship because I have nothing better to do with my life! I envy that. How about you go fuck yourself! Bye!!! xoxoxoxoxo"
You know? Instead of getting involved and upset, just end it.
