[A video of Francis appears - of course, the man would be too vain to just have a plain old voicemail.]

Allo, mes chéris! I'm not available at the moment, mais, leave a message, any format will do, and I will reply to you all as soon as I come back. I'll try not to keep you waiting too long! [He winks, grinning, then blows a kiss.] Au revoir~

[Francis responds, a little sleepy, his eyes blinking blearily. He's nude, as is obvious once he sits up a bit in the bed. He yawns a bit.]

Mmmmoui?

Ah, Francis. Did I wake you, chéri?

[Liquid does not mind the view at all. He himself is wearing his coat, the long dark material hanging open and half-slipping from his left shoulder.]

Ah, non, I was just sleeping in, chéri... it is all right. [Every other Monday he gets to sleep in, since he works at night. He gives off a bit of a sleepy smile.] What was it you needed?

Do you know a man named Ishida Uryuu?

... mm... Ishida Uryuu... sounds famil- ah! That man who designs for La Mer Bleu! Oui, I remember him! He said my paintings were quite lovely.

[At the appropriate future time but I post things as I have muse to do so, Francis finds these mysteriously placed on the desk across his hotel-room bed.]

[One thing one must know about France: he sleeps in the nude. So when he gets up the next morning, he is unclothed. He shifts a bit and sits up, yawning and stretching, when he notices the flowers. Slowly, he stands, not caring about being naked in his hotel room anymore because 1) the people here tend to have the decency to knock and 2) the "help" doesn't seem to even recognize his existence. Then he crosses over to the table and pulls the vase forward, smelling the flowers. His face ends up growing a bit of a smile, and he puts them right back in the center.

Then he notices the parchment. Slowly, he draws his fingertips over the little H, not knowing a single person in the hotel who goes by a name that starts with H. So he stands there for a moment, pondering who the flowers are from, also wondering if it is a secret admirer or just a friendly gesture.]

((Sorry, this is kind of late. Better late than never?))

Thank you for the offer of somewhere to stay, but my friend and I decided to stay in his flat, and... well, other things have come up now. It was a very nice offer, though, so thank you again.

Oh, non, it is quite all right. If you need a different place though, we have plenty of rooms available still, Sergeant. The offer should still be open.

Thank you, I'll keep that in mind, but I think I'm going to need to stay close to him for now.

He's more than welcome to come, too! [A soft laugh.] But, again, I understand. Do what you need to do, oui?

It sounds like Jubilee got there first, and others are planning to head over. If you want Emma to tag that thread, she could go find Francis before morning Sirens? She's planning to get up to visit a former student she's never met (timelines are strange) in the hospital before work.

Cool. You want Francis to still be awake, or should Emma wake him up from a nightmare or some such?

Francis will still probably be awake by morning. He has the night shift.
