I had an interesting day. I saw Hermione Granger while I was at the Three Broomsticks. She was chatting with Viktor Krum. He was drinking a good bit and seemed upset. That was interesting. I hope Sanguini's well. Tracey does seem to have that effect on people. Why'd you bring her along? Nevermind, just be nice to Hannah and try to find a little one on one time. It will smooth over.

I talked to Promise after I wrote you. She knows a lot more than she'll tell me, but she did say that she didn't think there was any magical defense against the Moonstone's monster. Sanguini said he'd keep his ears open for me, but in the meantime, maybe that will help you narrow down what we're dealing with.
