You're the epitome of class, guy.surfaceofthingsJuly 3 2005, 11:59:24 UTC
Hey, Patrick, I haven't seen you around any of the spots lately. Where ya been, dude? The NYC scene is like, sorely in need of your class. Alison Poole (big tits, annoying dogs) said she saw you not long ago, but refused to go into detail. (That chick is like, cool and all, but she definitely has her Sybil moments.)
Anyway, just wondering when we'll get another lethal dose of that Bateman charm (By the way, did anyone in your family go to Camden?). Hope to see ya soon, dude.

P.S. Thanks for that cigar you gave me at the club opening -- it was like totally awesome! I could practically TASTE Cuba!

It is so frustrating, and so very disappointing, to come across writings where the author obviously has exceptional skill, only to discover that they've abandoned what they started. And here is another example. Isn't there some way that you can be lured back, to share your words once more? Please think on it, Mr. Bateman.

I'm mildly surprised, though pleasantly so, to receive such a quick response, or even one at all. Especially when there had been several messages left for you before I left mine. I had thought that if one was to come, it wouldn't be for a while.
Yes, indeed, patience is a virtue, it's what I've heard many times, and it's one I still need to employ. However, you had said so much, in such a short period of time -- a matter of days, in fact -- and then suddenly there was nothing. Were you simply dangling the proverbial bone with constant posts? Are you doing that now? I said it had been over a year, but it would be more accurate to say a year and a half, and that come this April, it will have been two years since your wisdom was imparted to, what I'm sure is many, even if some may be too intimidated to speak up. You must admit yourself, Mr. Bateman, that's an awfully long wait.
Another greeting, Mr. Bateman, and with that, another plea. Please write something again. I wouldn't bother, if you weren't so gifted, but you are, and that is sorely needed in this realm.
Patrick. I was going to try again, but I guess if you don't have the interest yourself to continue, no one can change your mind. It's just too bad, for us, the readers, because the posts were good. I'll leave you be now, and I'll just check back every so often, to see if you ever do write another post again.
