... so now that we have a location, i've been going back and perusing the pictures of the house ... a lot! (haha). but i've realized that the house is very well suited for orange...and now i'm reconsidering whether or not pink and brown will work in the house. argh. i'm sure i could get it to work...but since so much of the existing decor is orange

I think it would be really cool to have orange and brown! That was my first thought from I saw the pics and starting reading your post. You should check out WCer "wondergirl" who had an orange/brown wedding. Her pics are beautiful.

Or you can compliment the orange that already exists by using fuschia rather than light pinks.
