Wedding on the Lawn or under the Gazebo?

deliberation time ...we've got two possible locations for the ceremony ... we can do it on the lawn in the back of the house ... or under the gazebo in the back courtyard.

Lawn:
- arch would be between palm trees on the right side of the lawn in the picture
- guests would be seated on the lawn, ocean to their left, house to their right

hmm...i think both options would be gorgeous no matter what. here's my question to you? At the end of the day, when you look back at your wedding pictures, which backdrop would you prefer?

Personally, I'm a fan of the lawn ceremony. The ocean backdrop with the palm trees is so amazingly gorgeous. I love how the guests can be right there with you on the lawn and not sitting yards away from the gazebo. I would then probably proceed to take pics at the gazebo.

I do think that the guests sitting in the living room would be a bit far. I do love the gazebo for the ceremony but I think for a more intimate wedding, having the guests close by would ideal.

I vote for Gazebo. I just think it's so neat. There is still the beautiufl background but with a unique architectural setting. And it's so cool having teh water around you and ppl can even sit on the island.

This is a tough decision because both locations will be beautiful.

I would choose the lawn for the ceremony (for the ocean view) and cocktails at the lounging area. =) Just my thoughts.
