I never met Solomon, but I have fond memories of you feeding blood worms to Jesus.

Yepyep! And still, "Feeding Bloodworms to Jesus" definitely needs to be an album name someday...

Oh, hon, I'm so sad to hear this. Solomon was one cool, crazy, out-of-this-world creature. My little guys are about to turn ten, and I know I would be absolutely devastated if I were to lose one of them. I'm so sorry, sweetie. *big, warm hug*

:( Thanks dear, he definitely was out-of-this-world, I hope he likes it still, being out of this world again. What was really hardest was just the suddeness of it - if he'd have gotten sick and gone in a few days, I'd be really really sad, but I'd understand - he was pretty old. But not getting to say goodbye really super-sucks.

Thanks. You know, it's kinda funny realizing how many people he met - I've had a lot of friends over in the past eight years!

He was invincible for a good long time, at least. Sorry to hear he's gone.

Thanks... I suppose the amazing regenerative powers of the ambystoma genus can't defeat all the problems, all the time, *forever*.

Oh bun! I would like to believe he and Abbey did get together and decide they could pass care of you from one to the other, that it was OK for him to go now that you have someone else from the animule plane to look after you. I am glad I at least got to see his tank the other day (I couldn't quite make *him* out in there but I think he was being quiet).

I will remember being all fascinated and grossed out by feeding him a cube of blood worms, and the hole at the end of his tail so he could be worn like a charm, plus the image of you holding him in your lap on an areoplane.

*picks you up and spins you around and then leave you for Abbey to comfort*

But he was so *good* at looking after me! How can any new animule keep such a good rudimentary beady eye on me as ol' Solomon did? :(

Now he'll never chomp on my finger to visciously attempt to eat me whole ever again... :(

Maybe you could get a binder clamp and put it on your finger and pretend? :(
