I'm afraid I made a woman blush in public today. I went out to eat with some friends at a nice restraunt. It was a little crowded, so we were at a booth in the bar. It was noisy, but not so noisy that we couldn't hear this woman a couple of tables, with a particularly loud and piercing voice

(though I was once tackled for talking too loudly about people I was having difficulty with, with a best friend I hadn't see for ages: this bloke came and leaned right by my ear and said "do you two ever say anything nice about anyone". I still haven't recovered, so I fear I could have been that woman. But I so hope I wouldn't have been - at least I don't have kids to talk about like that ...)

We all get a little loud sometimes. I just think talking loudly in a public place about someone else's intimate private problems just crosses a line.
