Crazy Hiking Site...

We went on a mini-adventure today. We hiked up behind the office - Our normal Off-Trail hike was gated off today - They had posted "No Trespassing" signs - So, we switched back and took a new trail. We ended up exploring on a game trail - It was beautiful - So close to the city - yet, totally isolated. We actually saw Mountain Lion tracks in the

Freezing rain all day today so I wasn't able to get out like I wanted with the puppers. I can't wait until SPRING hits!!! I want OUT of this house! I have a new bike (well, used, but new to me! And it works!) and Sammy loves to be my bike partner. We're excited to get out of the house together :)

You should have had your camera with you!

I know... Wish I had thought of bringing a camera - But, it was impromptu - and I normally don't have it with me during the work week. We saw a rattler last year during one of our worklunch hikes - and we started to carry our phones with us - JUST IN CASE - We used them to take some interesting shots - but they never came out as well as we hoped - Oh well... Maybe I'll start lugging around the camera again.... It would have been great to capture the trail we were on - It was really beautiful...
