Are you considering the Peace Corps or something shorter term?

yes i am or a program like it. I'm looking for something 6 months right now. so where it takes me...ive looked at a few different programs. if i do go to the one i want which would be in Israel, it would be from march-aug
but currently im volunteering doing different activies, i started volunteering at The Ronald McDonald house and I really wanna make a difference and change a few things. i wrote about it in my blog

Cross-Cultural Solutions is a pretty good shorter term program ... there IS a fee associated, and it is substantial, but they offer an enormous amount of support and feedback during their programs, so it's money well spent.

The Peace Corps is a 27 month commitment minimum. There are certain requirements, including a bachelor's degree or minimum of four years of relevant work experience. The application process usually takes 10-14 months between first application and staging (when you're put in your country for on-site training.) So that's something to consider.

ya, i wasnt aware that the peace corp had so much requirements and was that long! =/ i dont have a degree although im 24, im went to other schooling and certified in other things. but maybe in a few years I can possible do it...
