I think it's okay to care about the animals even if you're not an elderly person who just needs companionship. The whole situation is just *so sad* for every living being involved. Bush should have had his act together days ago and had things prepared. The pictures make it look like a third world country. It's horrible.

I know...I just mean a lot of people I've been talking to don't give a shit about the people let alone the animals. I just try to paint an image that it is very hard when you have no one at all to lose a pet.
The pictures are terrible...I don't even know what to say about Bush right now.

i think it's the animals that break my heart the most..... especially domesticated animals, since they know less about taking care of themselves.

i dont even want to think about ever leaving my pets behind. I think i'd rather risk my life for them than leave them behind.
