Regarding tonight’s episode of CSI:LV,
I’m underwhelmed. Generally speaking, Empty Eyes left me empty. I catalogued books into my personal library through out the show, which means I was only half paying attention. Waiting for commercials to re-stack books. I scored some new books today so I figured I could stand to re-organize a little bit. Yeah, I checked completely out after the suspect was identified in the hospital and Sara went nuts.
They can’t even do angst right. I mean, sure it was jarring to run up on a victim, but her reaction and the visualizing which they barely ever did with Grissom in the past even though he’s supposed to be the one known for getting into victims’ head, was totally disjointed. And every one being so concerned about her, accept Catherine who reacted, well pretty much like a professional is SUPPOSED to (for a change). And Warrick did his thing with his connection to the case fairly decently...and then politely disappeared as per usual. Then they throw Greg under the bus.
And once again we’re treated to an end of the show let’s beat viewers about the head and neck with the relationship thing. Ick.
Bleh.
Over. It.
As for next week, pretty much all I have to say is I love me some Lorraine Toussaint.
In other news, I'm starting to rethink my strategy of not scheduling myself to work door on thurs. Only sorta. There's still some good shows I'd prefer to see rather than work coming to town and most of them are wed or thur shows. If the season gets any suckier, I could see myself shelling out the cash to catch those as opposed to making cash. Either way, there will be pretty music in my life on a weekly basis. Cuts down on the drama stench. Plus, more money for books. Yay me. Summer TV Diet starts soon. Woot!
