Certainly easier than the ugly mobile version of LJ AND the non-mobile version as rendered by multiple incarnations of webkit.
LJ cutting is a bit childish if intuitive.
There's some neat bits for linking and such...

In the end I give it 3.5 stars for creating content.
For consuming I give it 4. They should really improve their web design for mobile presentation which would make the app unnecessary.
