Wow. And you're supposed to get healthy in there!

On top of all that they come in 4X a night to "take your vitals" and 2X to take blood. No rest for the sick there.

Sorry to hear of the chaos in the one place you should be able to rest. Ha
I have friend I use to work with and she had heart attack Fri night and she has been complaining of the same kind of things since then too....no sleep, people moaning and randomly running down halls. somehow this is not the medical care we all expect and should be entitled to. Hope you are released to your own home soon...and get better !

I'm home and the first thing I did was take a shower. A dish tub of water just doesn't do it.
Thanks.

I'm so sorry you went through all that! :(

My mother has had quite a few hospital stays over the past year or so and she always complains about how it's impossible to get any rest. Between all the other patients and the sounds coming from the machines, not to mention the nurses constantly coming in to take her vitals or some kind of test...she couldn't wait to come home just so that she could sleep uninterrupted.

I hope you're feeling better now, and I hope you're able to get some rest! *gentle hugs*

I hopped into bed last night and didn't turn over until 7am.
Thanks for your good wishes.

I'm so sorry you had to go through all that nonsense - I hope you're okay! Let's hope there's not a next time, but if so I would make sure to invest in a good pair of earplugs...

Earplugs don't quite do it whe the woman in the bed next to you keeps setting off her bed alarm.
But so far I am doing ok, I just needed to get home.
