Oh good grief!! SO sorry to hear you have that to deal with as well.Poor you. Here's to better, brighter days in your very near future.

I hope you were able to get the meds in time that help lessen the symptoms a LOT. I know with my Mum we caught it the first day as my SIL had had it and saw the blisters on mum's face and told her to go to the Doctor ASAP.

Actually it started on Friday, but no doctors on the weekends and I won't go to the emergency room unless I am bleeding, not breathing or unconscious.
He gave me a shot and started meds, so I hope we caught it in time.

Oh My God Darling, I just want to reach out and hug you... But not a good idea, I don't want to make your shingles hurt anymore than they do.

I just talked to my doctor last week about getting the shingles vaccine, but because I'm only 57 not 60 my medicare co-pay is $83. So I passed, now I'm rethinking that decision...

I'm so sorry you've been through so many health issues, please vent away... We're here to support you anytime...

Oh shoot, shingles must be horrible! An uncle of mine had them once, and I recommended he use tea tree essential oil on them, and it helped so well he could even do without standard medication. Maybe it would help you too?

Most welcome. Thin it out a little with vegetable oil or something similar if you try it, maybe 5-10 drops of tea tree oil in a tablespoon of other oil. I hope it helps!
