My mom won't let me go to the jacksonville game with u guys! She said that she thinks that somethinf bad will happen and that the drunks are out at that time of the night! its cool....i understand where shes coming from about the drunks and all and if it would change anything, i was gonna try to leave before the game was over anyways.....but i also just now thought....would she let u just hang out with us in pell city or something? maybe go out to eat or something? if so, we could always go to a jacksonville game another friday.....o and i have a bad grade too but i talked to my teacher on the fone this afternoon b4 i went to guadalahara and she said i had some missing assignments so.....it will come up in the next few days.....but anyways.....maybe she just needs to get to know j a little better and learn that hes trustworthy and nice.....

Please don't think mom is trying to be a hater and not let you do *anything* because we both know it's not true. I went through the same thing at your age where I wanted to do so much more than she was ready to let me do, but now I understand why. She is just looking out for you and riding with three of your friends (and by the way, she said she trusts the friends you were planning on going with) all the way to MY CITY :-) that late at night makes her uncomfortable. And it makes me uncomfortable too. I know for sure that she wouldn't mind you going out with them somewhere a little closer to Pell City and she'd probably be cool with you going if a parent was going. I love you, Lauren, and so does mom. We just don't want something harmful to happen to you because that would make both of us feel *awful*.
