I apparently already did this drabble theme. Oh, well.
Youko’s method was simple: list in her mind what had to be done, follow it through with deadly precision and move on to the next task. But more importantly, never look back because there were no mistakes to be had.
Where did she go wrong with this?
She was supposed to take care of Sei, supposed to watch over her. It was so clear before. All she had to do was to keep looking ahead and moving forward.
“Youko.”
Sei spun her around and kissed her, the door closing behind them.
And Youko realized she couldn’t walk away from this.
Sachiko and Rei had an understanding that their relationship must be kept secret. Barely days as a couple, they both preferred to deal with the issue on a later date.
Many times Rei helplessly left her to attend to one of Yoshino’s demands, and Sachiko barely kept her stoic composure.
Today, however, there would be no Yoshino to take Rei away from her. Rei was in her room, on her bed and between her legs. But even before they could kiss, Rei’s phone rang.
Sachiko sighed, feeling defeated.
But what Rei said was a complete surprise, “Sorry, Yoshino. Not today.”
