The October trip for GayRomLit needs more prep work than just finding airfares and hotel rooms. High on the to-do list is creating goodies for giving away, both at the conference and elsewhere.

Trading cards -- there will be games and prizes associated with collecting them. One side will be novel covers, the other sides are character info, although

Lip balm sounds good to me - although it is one of those things that can never find when I want it but I have dozens of tubes of it somewhere. How about mini-calendars?

I did like the idea one of the TQ authors (sorry I can't remember who) suggested: Double-sided printing on decent letter size paper, folded in half so that it opens like a book. Cover on the front, blurb and other titles/ website info on the back, and an excerpt inside over the 'two' pages.
