So I'm sitting here idly watching television, and PBS is showing Ken Burns' latest series: The War.

I've not seen any of it yet, so I figure what the heck. If nothing else, the sonorous narration of another Burns series is bound to help me get some sleep.

But then, just as it was about to start, I sat up and took notice, for in its now typical

But who was it provided by?!?

I mean, "Corporate Funding for The War provided by DuPont" would be too much to hope for, right? I guess that'd be better for the First World War, though.

We were giggling along those lines as well.

The series is ok. I'm having a hard time staying focused on the various splinter stories, but the videos and images he has dug up for this series are really interesting.
