My Top 20 Albums of 2006!!!!!!! DID YOURS MAKE IT!?!?!

Life is good. Classes are kind of tedious but that's to be expected. Oh well. Cest la Vie and all that. Recently I finally got to start doin my radio show again and I my first show was a countdown of my favorite albums of 2006. This doesn't include albums that leaked, just ones that were officially released in 2006. I figured I'd post the list here

Yes! I was a fan of their last album, but their new one pretty much blew me away. Gruber is also a big fan of it. Some of the songs remind me of Queen, which is something I didn't think was even possible.

Anyways, I definitely recommend any of the other albums that I listed. Taking a quick glance at your facebook (so what if I stalked you a bit) I would recommend specifically

16 - Melodic but heavy
10 - I can recommend this to ANY musical taste, this is a live album. Just check out this band in general. They are amazing
4 - This will appeal to the punk lover in you
2 - Doesn't any fancy modifiers, this is just straight up rock
1 - Again, great punkish-rock, similar to but better than franz ferdinand

once again, the black parade... blech! X( ...i definitely prefer their earlier stuff... definitely good call on the hold steady though XD ::dances... literally, cuz THS is freaking amazing::... the thermals kick ass too (thanks due to you for introducing me to them XDDD )... as for the rest of it, ive heard OF most of those bands, but, aside from yeah yeah yeahs, sufjan, and calexico, i havent actually listened to any of them... so you have some lindsey-schooling to do, mister

~ You'll get over it. I liked the Black Parade, you hate it. Funny how that keeps coming up and nothing has changed about it.
