You know, I always thought something similar to that. Like... People spend so much time analyzing master works of art, from paintings to music to literature, etc... What if the creator did what they did just 'cause they felt like it? What if people are looking way too deep into the "interpretation," when the answer is really more simple? They artist did that because they felt like it. They were bored. Just for funsies.
Exactly! I mean... just because the artist doesn't necessarily find depth in it doesn't mean there's depth in it to the eyes of someone else, ya know? But just the same... there are those people who look at something and say, "I just don't get it."
I just meant that interpretation is tremendously subjective.
