My fangirl heart is confused. Should she weep for joy or flail with glee that the story is now complete? As a result, she's doing both, and it's kind of messy.

This fic reminds me why I so miss Ash. And brings back the yummy tense goodness tensions of this era of the show.

Where you leave it? Moving thusly into AHBL? *flail* The dread, the anticipation, we as an audience knowing what's ahead? *heart hurts*

Lol. I think Ackles's vacant, bored expression at 4.03 is actually much more appropriate.

I nearly cut a bunch of Ash out of this last bit, because there was some question about keeping things moving and one of my betas correctly pointed out that a lot of his stuff did nothing to advance things forward. But in the end I just jiggled and shortened and spliced and shifted until it was hopefully a bit less draggy.

I really wanted to fangirl Ash a bit. Mostly because about a day after this fic finishes, the poor bastard is going to burn in the bar.
