While I haven't been able to try out any other doggy daycares, we take our dog to AirPet Hotel because it's the only one that works with my work schedule (10-hour days). They specialize in boarding for those flying in/out of PDX so they are open 24-7 (by appointment) but my dog loves going there for daycare. It's not the cleanest facility though, which is probably my only gripe with the place, and some of that may be due to simple accidents, excitable urination or whatever.
I'm hoping others will chime in with their suggestions. A friend of mine takes her dog to Barka Lounge for daycare/boarding.
If you do find one you like, feel free to promote it here or share your review of it. :-)
We've had good experiences with boarding our dog at Noah's Arf in NW (right by Dove Lewis). I understand there's a waiting list for regular daycare though.

I recommend that you try Bark PDX Dog Walking and Pet Sitting. Not all dogs like sitting in a kennel all day especially in a foreign place. Bark PDX comes to your home and gives your pet personalized attention in the comfort and relaxed environment of their own home and neighborhood. They are licensed, insured and come very well recommended. Check out their website at: http://www.barkpdx.com or call (503) 259-BARK (2275)
