In the efforts of keeping himself away from Uruha, he ended up getting closer. He hid his face in shame behind the curtains, hoping he wouldn’t get any closer.
“Kai-chan…why are you avoiding me?” Uruha’s voice was mocking. “Could it be that you like me?”
Kai hid his face deeper behind the curtains as his body tensed up.
“You’re an idiot.” He managed to say, the sounds he made muffled and struggling.
“It wasn’t a no.”
“It wasn’t a yes.”
“But I’ll take it as so.”
And then Uruha was hugging him tightly, purring like a kitten.
“Baka.” Kai whispered.
